The Pregnancy Power Workbook
Authors: Camilla Bicknell, RNC, WHNP
James S. Betoni, DO
After having 5 kids myself, I am long over the need for a workbook like this, but I do have years of experience with which to compare this new workbook which looks to be a unique tool for the expectant mother. Here's a short blurb from the press release:
" The Pregnancy Power Workbook allows a woman who is pregnant to become more proactive and involved. The workbook allows a space to write answers based on her current knowledge. The professionally constructed answers build on her knowledge and offers practical medical rationale. These women will experience freedom from the needless day-to-day concerns, and will be reassured that they are taking exactly the right steps for their growing babies. Unlike any other guidebook, this workbook features a pregnancy timeline, an ultrasound awareness sheet, a laboratory flow sheet, and a prenatal appointment flow sheet.
This is a user friendly guide that provides a practical system that is easy to follow. A woman can then be on exactly the same page as her medical team - and know that she is - and work with them toward the same goal: a healthy baby."
I am one of 2000 lucky recipients to receive a mug from Harper Collins Publishing. It arrived in the mail Friday! Woot!
