My Review: Years ago I came across a children's book, You Are Special, written by Max Lucado. My husband and I liked it so much that we purchased copies for each of our children. Inside I wrote a personal tribute to each child, sharing with them what makes them special. Each child was given this as a Christmas gift.
When I saw this book, Max on Life, on BookSneeze, I just had to request a copy. I am glad I did. Each of us have questions and trials and Max Lucado addresses several that many of us may be seeking insight and answers to.
Max On Life is designed to answer common questions about life and the spiritual answers from Max Lucado's perspective based on his work as a pastor and from scriptural passages found in the Bible. The entire book is comprised of seven segments: Hope, Hurt, Help, Him/Her, Home, Haves/Have-Nots, and Hereafter. Within these segments are questions he has commonly been queried about in his work as a pastor and the answers he found based on scripture and personal spiritual insight. With some good advice for handling the trials that life can throw your way, Max on Life may offer the answers and comfort you seek.
"Here's hoping that his answers to the questions of others will help you find answers to yours." (from the dust cover)
