Teaser Tuesday!! 3/8/11

"I think that what I should do is stand up slowly, and then you should run for the woods."

"I'll take the basket," she volunteered in a low voice. "I will not share my raspberry tart with that oaf." ~ page 559, At Home in Mitford by Jan Karon

Doesn't that sound intriguing? I know some of you will likely remember the sequence of events that precipitated this conversation and followed directly afterwards! *mischievous grin*

Teaser Tuesdays is hosted by MizB of Should Be Reading.  Please take a moment to introduce yourself and your teaser and then stop by Should Be Reading to join the linky.  Have a great day!

  2. Funny teaser. I wouldn't share my raspberry tart to an oaf either. Or to anyone for that matter.

  7. I read this book a long time ago and just remember that it really dragged along for me. Your teaser is probably one of the most exciting the things in the book!

We think adults would enjoy "Horse Boy" more than teens.
