Cinder Goodreads Review

A likeable dystopian young adult twist on the classic fairytale Cinderella featuring Cinder, an orphaned cyborg living with her stepmother and two stepsisters.  The novel is set in future day, plague ridden New Beijing where transportation is by hovercraft, a lunar queen threatens was unless her proposal of marriage is accepted by the young future emperor.  Young Cinder must discover the secrets of her past so she can help save the future of New Beijing and the planet and perhaps capture the heart of the handsome prince.


Cinder is one of those hard to put down novels that captures your attention and leaves you dangling at the end, anxious for the next in the series.  Recommended!
