Long Live the Book
The joy of books knows no bounds. Do you agree?
I know two people who have e-readers and who recently decided they needed to go on a book buying binge because they missed the physicality of a book. Have you ever felt this way? I don't have an e-reader because I know that I would miss the very essence of a book. It's not just the story for me. I love to hold the book, to smell it, to gently break it in, and to spend hours immersed within its pages. How does an e-book even compare? Tell me, do you feel the same? Anyone?

The Former Home of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle...
Located in Hindhead, Surry, England, Undershaw (former home of Sherlock Holmes author, Sir Arthur Conan Doyle) may not remain the mansion-esque property as it appears in this video. It sat derelict, subject to the elements of nature, where it sustained some damage. Developers wanted to divide the home into three terraced houses, forever ruining the aesthetic quality and historical value and significance of this property. Wouldn't it be a greater and more fulfilling task to return it to its former glory and perhaps make it into a museum or a bed and breakfast, at the least, where fans can stay and linger in the halls Sir Arthur Conan Doyle once wandered?

There is a Monster at the End of This Book!
This is such a cute story and a childhood favourite of one of my co-workers who kindly shared the story with me. Not every child will have the luxury of having Grover read it aloud, but I bet you can do a pretty good imitation now, can't you?
